'94 512TR AC system was leaking and there were bubbles in sight glass. Searched this forum and tightened fittings on compressor as suggested. One fitting on the compressor was a good half turn loose. I had the AC system refilled about 4 weeks ago with R12. At that time the system was vacuumed out and held the vacuum for ~30 minutes. After recharging it worked well. Nice to have in Houston in August. Unfortunately, a week later the cooling is inadequate and there bubbles in the sight glass again. Purchased a nice Freon detector. Compressor and its connections are fine. When I put the sniffer into the front grill it goes crazy. Hopefully it is only a connection. There is no access to the condenser from the front luggage compartment. The body underneath the condenser is sealed. Removal of the front grill lets me view one the two connections. It looks like I may need to remove the front bumper to gain access. Is this necessary is there a better way to gain access? Thanks, John Image Unavailable, Please Login
