    but aren't these indeed all aftermarket covers that the dealers sold?

    They're all made by a mfgr in Italy that has an ongoing relationship with Ferrari providing the cover, seat covers & steering wheel cover with the cars when new

    I was always told that these cars never came with covers, because the covers started coming with cars later on & could also be purchased separately. Perhaps this set came early on in the course of covers being provided with cars.

    Nevertheless, the price is Stupid for me. This cover is the same as the Testarossa cover and they were available and can be found often.

    None of these covers sell for this kind of price on eBay. I'd be in the market for it, but not at this price...

    I have one and was surprised to see a Ferrari part number label sewn onto case!
    They are nice.

    We had a BIG THREAD HERE somewhere and almost had a group-buy .... DO SEARCH !! ............ :eek: I feel old ....

    And YES: there are F numbers .... estd value is secondhand $ 350, brandnew $750.

    Also 360 CC will easily fit, 430 has stamped 430 on one "ear" and you don't want that imo.

    I paid $400 for my 512TR cover in new condition. Then gave it to the buyer when sold of course.

    One that was Not Original just like the one above sold here for $800..In less than an hour!..My Original was a great deal compared to this!!

    I was told the one on ebay with the horse and Ferrari on the bag may not be correct as originally supplied- I conversed with the seller of the ebay cover, it was from his brother's car, he claims it was original to the car, but I had reservations.

    So does anyone actually know which way the covers/bag were originally supplied with the Testarossas/512TR's? Did TR's & 512's come the same?

    The Testarossa came without a Cover!..512TR is when they started to come with covers

    I bought my 93 512TR from the original owner in 2001. When I bought it he gave me everything that was included with the car when he took delivery and it included the car cover in the red bag and a full set of luggage in those cloth tan bags. There are Ferrari part numbers on all the bags. The car cover and the luggage has never been used. They are all still new.

    I bought another cover that I use when the car sits....

    At least in Europe, you could order your Testarossa when new with a cover. It was supplied by Specialised Car Covers in the UK.
