The 512TR shares several features of its fuel tank/pump design with the 550/456. As such it is venerable to the same issues of rubber degradation when exposed to the modern blended EtOH gasoline. There are now updated factory + aftermarket parts that account for the weakness of the system (See here).

I have compiled a list of all needed parts to completely redux the OEM fuel system as am planning to complete with my next Major.

    Part - PN - n - notes
    [ ] Fuel Pump - 140317 - 2 - This is the 58/66mm Pump
    [ ] Fuel Pump support housing - 126809 - 2 - This is for the 58/66mm Pump (140317); not the smaller 53mm pump
    [ ] Vibration Pad/Base - 126807 - 2 - “FMSD 126807” = EtOH resistant (see here); Same as used on a 550/456
    [ ] Fuel Filter - 186922 - 2 - Comes with most major kits; Same as used on a 550/456
    [ ] Revised fuel sender - RS146648 - 1 - Available from Ricambi, more accurate/reliable/robust then the original design
[ ] Aluminum Faceplate - 173890R - 2 - Replaces brittle plastic part that is prone to cracking with enough heat cycles/age/exposures, available from GTCP
[ ] Vapor Filter Box - 148413 - 1 - Not required unless being overly through (and a touch pedantic). I am replacing mine as I don't intend to ever touch the fuel system again for a few decades
Welcome feedback on anything else that should be added/missing note again this is for a 512TR):

Id be tempted to refab all the high pressure hoses. The alloy fittings Ferrari used crack. I have found very nice quality steel fittings for them.
They were available in gold and black.

That is very smart. Brain I am more than happy to buy a batch of hoses and fittings from you if so willing. I dont know the sizes/specs so happily to pay premium to get from from you and save that step...

I do not stock them. I am in the middle of moving my shop, my records are 100 miles away in some unmarked box. I will see if I can find the source. Have you ever built Aeroquip hoses before?

Brian, can they upgraded to build your own Aeroquip style?

Not sure what you mean. But the fittings themselves are for sure an upgrade but do look different. Not the usual blue alloy. And actually I prefer the black fabric or rubber covered hose. Less gaudy and easier to inspect condition.
