Hi Guys, Recently had a engine out service and before the engine was out it would intermittently start. Figured fuel pumps since the car sat for several years. Sure enough the rubber inserts were deterioated and fuels were bad. Replaced all the needed parts - performed belt service and installed. Now I have no start - I do have spark and I do have injectors (test with node light) but no fuel. If i jump the relays I get fuel pressure so I know they work. What provides ground at the fuel pump relays - That is what seems i am not getting. Again its a 512TR -- Thank you!
The (respective) ECUs control the fuel pump relays by providing earths to the relay solenoids (R & T). The pumps are activated when the engine speed reaches 30rpm. I assume you are getting engine speed signals as the injectors are being told to fire, but could there be a timing issue with the new belts?
