    I'm about to help a friend change the oil in his '93 TR . While his manual says that it takes 12 qts of oil and has 1 oil filter, I called a dealer , who indicated that it has 2 oil filters and takes 13.5 qts. I only see one filter on this car . Is there another one hidden somewhere?

    It appears that someTR's came with different oil systems? What's the scoop?

    There's only one oil filter on a 512TR -- perhaps the dealer misunderstood you and thought you said 512BB (which has two and the slightly larger total capacity)?
