The reversing light on my 512TR no longer lights up. Wiring and bulb are all okay. I was informed by a dealer that its the switch (presumably attached to the gearbox). He quoted a scary price and a full-day's labour to fix it. So...any tips, instructions or photos showing how I can do it myself? And no, I don't have the workshop manual - like some others I'm keeping an eye out for a copy somewhere. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Typically the reverse light switch is built into the shifter housing in the passenger cabin (not the gearbox) -- if you look down below the shift gate, can you see a switch plunger protruding that would be depressed when the shift lever is placed into the reverse gear position?
