Ricambi america has 2 parts listed for this:

    140314...original thermal switch...$101

    158655...replacement...$36

This is the thermal switch to cut on the radiator fans.

When I asked about the difference between the two, I received the answer.."what do you mean?...I don't understand your question?"

Well, I went and ordered 158655 and now I can tell you the difference. The new part needs a harness connector to function.....the original piece has 2 spade connectors.

If I use the new part, can someone please let me know where I can get the harness connector? I will need to change the factory spade connectors to the new style ferrari connector. Shared on 355, 456 and F50. Thanks.

You were right....metri pack GM delphi 280 connector.

B Motorsports was great to work with. Their engineer said that it must have a decent amount of current using these connections.

    just some additional info....

The thermal switch I pulled from the car had 92C/87c marking on it . (197 F/ 189F) It also had the blade style connectors.

This makes me think that maybe this was not the original thermal switch. Perhaps someone cut off the previous connector and crimped on spade connectors to fit this replacement switch.

I say this because the fan had the metri/gm style harness connector. Why would Ferrari use one weather proof switch and not do the other?

In addition, the replacement part comes on at 88C and turns off at 82C. (190 F/ 180 F)
