While I myself, despite all efforts, have ZERO points, I do have a client who is in rather hot water with regard to his driving record. So I am looking for a good referral to an outstanding traffic attorney who can represent this guy in Montgomery County. (I know, worst possible jurisdiction.) I've searched the site, but no luck.

And before you suggest pleading for a PBJ, it's WAY TOO LATE for that strategy.

PM please. This guy is a deserving soul and true member of the Skinny Pedal Fraternity.

    Much appreciated!

    Maryland traffic lawyer thread?

This has to be a first.

I have no clue...and have lived here all my life.

If you don't have any luck, PM me and I will ask some of my lawyer buddies.

I was thinking the same thing.

Now if it was for a Virginia Traffic Lawyer, we got those on speed dial ... :)

I know a good lawyer if you get a speeding ticket or reckless driving charge in Loudoun County.
He helped my son with that situation a few years ago.

    Daniel J. Travostino
Address: 20 W Market St, Leesburg, VA 20176
    Phone: (703) 771-1081

For other counties, it is best to search this section or post where you need one.
IMHO, it is always good to go with a local attorney, someone who is seen in that court (by those judges) on a frequent basis.

I have used him for 3 separate reckless driving tickets. Made all 3 go away. He went to court for me and cost $1500.

Years ago I used this guy, long time Montgomery County attorney experienced in traffic cases. Mine was 95 in a 55, in a new F430. John told me to go to traffic school before trial, I did, John appeared with me, ended up having everything reduced, no big deal.

Edit - It's been ten years or so, but I believe I picked John because he'd been a president of the local bar association. In court, I remember it was clear he knew all the judges and many of the cops. He walked right up to the cop who'd ticketed me, shook his hand and had a nice chat with him. John was not cheap, but at 40 over I really didn't care about the fees - which as I recall were still under $1000.

In Virginia, as a few people here could tell you, I would have been sent to jail for that speed.

It was a sunny day, clear, flat, straight interstate, week old Ferrari and a cop with a radar gun fishing for idiots like me. "95 in a 55" was giving me a break.
