Hey, are you really looking to buy now? Great to hear! You've been around a long time (like myself).

    Hey Ryan.

I am always looking, but the Mondial inquiry is actually for a friend of mine in Seattle. He just sold his airplane and wants to buy another toy. He is a Porsche guy, but he has 2 kids and wants a convertible with 4 seats.

What are you doing in Pewaukee, WI. I grew up north of Milwaukee in Mequon.

I finished law school, moved to WI, took the bar and am now here practicing! Long time has passed, eh? For a while there it seemed like law school would never end.

I understand your friend's position: I've got two little boys now under 3yrs and we're looking around for my next car. I've also always wanted a 4-seat conv't but I'm not sure whether I should do that before a sports car or after for my second car (we have a big sedan right now).

Something he should test drive in the 4 seat conv't is the Audi S4 Cabriolet, the back seats are pretty accomodating for a 2+2 cab. Used in the high $30k range for nice '05s. They're kind of 'stealthy' though, not much distinguishes them from the regular A4 cabs but a little bigger grill and bigger exhaust - but the 340hp V8 is pretty quick and it has quattro AWD for the Seattle rain (lived there, done that). Also 330/M3 cab, CLK, or if he wants bigtime there's always an Arnage or Corniche! That would be the ultimate picnicmobile.

If he wants a Mondi T Cab though, he could just make the offer for $45k and see what happens. If he's genuine about his interest it shouldn't be that bad, worst the guy can say is a higher number.
