I am selling a set of 2-piece forged BBS LMs which were removed from my 550. Front: 19x9.5" et30 Rear: 19x11" et28 1" spacers for the rears are included BBS does not make wheels for the 550/575 as part of their standard offering, but in the early 2000s a German tuner named Inden Design commissioned a special production run of these 19" wheels in 550/575 fitment. The wheels are in very good condition with no bends, cracks, major blemishes, or signs of previous repair. They do show normal wear associated with age and use. I have detailed pictures of each wheel along with screenshots from the 2005 Inden catalog showing these wheels in my flickr album here: https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjzWTD3 Looking to get $3,000 for the set. Located in Atlanta, GA and willing to ship. Thanks Terry! I actually got the PDF catalog from one of your earlier posts in another thread - much appreciated!
i wonder if that is my old set it's a pretty aggressive setup in the front as a side note. i bought them from a ferrari club member in NYC. they came with pirelli rosso corsa tires. later i got a nail in one of the rears and ordered/installed a new one. car was down right squirrelly (sp?) under hard accel. turns out the replacement was the same size but N spec. the original was not. these should have special bolts. i didnt use a spacer on the rear as i recall
I am still kicking myself for being a wimp and not buying your car from Nifty! Those weels are bada$$. Will you stick with the OEM's that Nifty had or will you go to Modulars or other? Whoever buys them should be very happy.
@henryr @chris1866 someday when I get to the Atlanta area we'll have to have a 456/550/575 lunch or dinner! p.s. I can't tell when @Soren last logged on....wonder if he still has his 575?
Do these require special bolts and if so do they come with the package?? I have HREs on my 456 right now, but just not 100% happy with them.. so still looking... I need new tires anyway, so..........
Thanks for the kind words, all! I don't believe these wheels would require anything special aside from extended lug bolts to match your spacer selection. I'm not sure about fitment on a 456 (I would assume that if they fit the 550/575, they would fit 456 also, but obviously cannot say for certain not having tried it myself). You may need to play with spacer selection to get everything to your liking. Lug bolts not included. Thanks!
yes, these should have different bolts. the backside of the bolt - wheel fitment is different. don't recall about length. they will fit on the 456 but the front fitment is very tight
Let me think on this... I had similar BBS wheels on my Gen 1 Viper back in the day.. really liked them... @henryr do you know what bolts I would need.. want to price those out... Thanks!
not off hand. the bolts are either rounded on the rear face of the nut where it seats with the wheel or flat... don't recall which. they are also a different length.... i'd call BBS USA. they also made 18" versions as well
BBS makes seats which are generally application specific. For example, for BMW applications they use conical seats (for conical head bolts), while for Mercedes/VAG they use ball seats. Obviously no idea what they used in this case
@Davidspop It's a bit difficult to capture the seat in a photo, but here's my best attempt. I also pulled a lug bolt off of my 550 to inspect. *note that these are NOT the bolts that were used with the BBS wheels according to the previous owner. Of course, the length of bolts you'd need will depend on your spacer selection, which may be driven by fitment on your 456 and also preference in terms of how the wheels will sit relative to the fenders. Hope this helps! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I don't believe this is correct. According to everything I'm seeing on fchat and elsewhere, both the 550 and F430 are 5x108 bolt pattern... Now, as for the offset and general size, I have no idea.
