Working on a custom coil over set up for my 575 and looking for dimensions for shock stroke and body length (diameter would be great as well).

I'm traveling at the moment so dont have access to the car to measure.

Does anyone have these off hand or a resource for it?

If the dimensions differ meaningfully between 550 and 575 that would be of interest to know.

There are 3 different manufacturers of coilovers for 550/575 which cater to different price-points and uses.

Just spoke with rbp and have a what he is looking for.

I believe the shock bodies are the same but there are different upper mounts between the 550 and 575M. Also the 575M has various mount options depending on year (it might be dependent on suspension options) which might change height. Taz likely has info on whether the valving and stroke is different between models.

No, I do not have any tech data on shock valving, but the WSM does have the damping force for the front and rear shocks for normal and Sport modes.

Thanks @tazandjan - do you know if the fail mode for the dampers is full hard? IE if I unplug the connectors?

will reply back to this thread when I have dimensions on the dampers - will try to get this week.

Affirmative, full hard with no voltage or other fault.
