550 / 575 owners - tyre help please

    renewing tyres on a friends 550 and I notice that he has pzero direzionale on the front adn asimmetrico on the rears - is this normal ?? I ahve asimmetrico all round on my 355 - anyone help me as i dont want to buy the incorrect tyres for him..... my colleague at the tyre dealers said taht Pirelli have said Asimmetrico P Zeros are ok to be on a 550 on all corners....

    Help me please anyone in the know....

    your 355 should have directionals on the front and Assimetricos (sp?) on the rear :eek:,

    I'm running Pirelli Pzero Rosso's alround on my 550, they are directional fronts and Assimetrico rears

    D11VEJ Now runs a full set of PZero Rossos on his 575 he did have Bridgestones all round by reckons the PZero rossos are much much better. These were fitted by Maranello.

    Get in contact with one of the Pirelli centres of excellence - EVO did an article a while back about how good these places are. They should be able to advise.

    Pirelli system ....4 assimetricos OR Directonales on front (to clear water) and assimetricos on rear ....from pirelli website.
