I recenently purchased factory 575 19" modular wheels. I will not be tracking the car but prefer a fairly aggressive tire. Would appreciate input on manufacturer, model and size. Also, I'm selling my Kinesis 18" modular wheels with under 1K miles currently listed on our FerrariAds.

    Ferrari recommends:

    Front:
    Pirelli P Zero Rosso 255/35/ZR19 (32psi)

    Rear:
    Pirelli P Zero Rosso 305/30/ZR19 (32psi)

    Owners Manual page 1.12

I would start there and adjust accordingly

    :)

On of the main reasons to go 19" is to put on the Corsas, which are not available in 18.

I had them on my CS wheel set. Great tires but compound is possibly a bit soft for only street use or not, hmmm.

I have R rated tires on every car that I can get them for, why not? They hold so much better it's worth it.

Richard, Of course I do intend to go with a 'ZR' rated tire however, the compound on the Corsa's are almost of slick composition and for street use offer minimal tread life. Additionaly, I don't believe the 'Corsa' is offered in the sizes I need.

Have the P Zero's but way to soft, they pick up all small rocks and sand blast the body work. Have the Michelin Pilots on another car, same great grip but don't retain rocks and wear far better.

rossos are half-decent, unless it's pouring hard. i like them better than the michelins, even for wear. haven't tried r-compound but i'd love to run them. probably going to try toyo proxies.

Andrew, I do believe the P-Zero Corsa *System* as used on the Challenge Stradale is very streetable. You can get that tire in 255/35-19 and 305/30-19 sizes for the 575MM with 19" wheels. Ferrari installs them on the 575 Handling GTC package equipped cars.

Hi Viken, As mentioned in my prior post, been there done that. Great tire for mainly competition use. Also, the Corsa's are typically unavailable which is doesn't help matters especially for a street car. This time around a wanted a tire with slightly harder compound to better suit my use. I went with the Pirelli PZero Rosso Asimmetrico.

I've said it before, I'll say it again, Michelin PS2, noticeably better than the Pirelli in the dry, significantly better in the wet, also available in 19" sizes.

I wholeheartedly agree with the Michelin PS2's (on right now), having run through the tread life around 40 percent faster with the PZeros!

    LOL!
Measure the cross sectional area of your Pirelli, I'll do the same on my Michelin, you'll probably the Michelin is actually as wide. Pirelli fitments seem to be slightly smaller than Michelins for some reason.
