    Could anybody please confirm for me, whether an engine # F133 E, with a s/n 746xx, is a 575M motor (as I suspect) or a 550 ?

    Thanks !

Thanks, Mark. You can guess what it's related to - and what it's going into - no doubt ! ;)

Nice one Paul. Just the engine for a P4 rep.
Jenvey are just about finished doing straight port inlet manifold castings to fit their 42mm tapered or 45mm throttle bodies on my 575 engine (in a 62 GTO special) if you go that route.
I'm hoping to have it Dyno'd soon. It's a standard engine apart from good extractor exhaust manifolds & throttle bodies + DTA ecu. It will very interesting to see what power it's putting out.

I hasten to add - not mine, sadly. Just 'a few' photos from a customer build I have been priviliged to see. ;)
The stock 575M motor, complete with plenum chambers does just fit under the car's rear (spyder) deck, apparently - due to the 'lowering effect' of using an inverted Porsche G50 transmission. My first thought, when I saw the photos was how much nicer looking (and lower) the installation could have been if the stock injection / plenums were replaced with EFI / throttle bodies.
