    Hey guys,

My 550 A/C "Stop" button started acting up last night. Wifey complained that she was cold, so I pushed the "Stop" button as I always do. 5 minutes later, it's getting chilly again. I look at the console and the button has popped out again. Now I push it in, and it won't stay down. I'm guessing that I'll be needing a new climate control panel, which would not be a bad thing because it's got the bubbles going on.

Anyway, anyone had this happen or am I missing something? Could this be the climate control adjusting for the temp?

    Thanks in advance!

My guess is the 550 A/C panel is the same as the 456, if so, it is just a panel assembly which "pops" into place with only a connector assembly in the back.

Unless you have a spare $1,000 for a new unit, you might try to repair the one you have. the switch might have some dirt build up or just defective...probably an easy clean or replacement.

Call these guys, they have panel replacements to take care of the "bubbling.

Hey Michael, call me or PM me. This could be an intrenal spring issue. We might be able to help you and might have the console in stock, if needed.
