    The face plate on the HVAC of my 98 550 is discoloring or delaminating. The condition isn't yet severe but you can particularly see the #'s discoloring. Is this common ? I assume the only fix is to replace the face plate? Thks for any advice

    John, Thanks for the repy. I suspect the stock face plate will be more than the $540 for the carbon fiber version. 550 Bryan

    The CF one looks worlds better than the stock one. Always been one of my beefs about the car - the AC controls look like they're out of a GM

    I heard that www.theferraricentre.co.uk have printed very original looking replacement stickers for this.

    No idea on cost/availability though.

    if u donna do cf on the AC plate, u should buy all new cf pieces for your car interior. otherwise it will look whack in my opinion

    exactly the reason for my question on the appearance of it. All the other pieces in my 550 are CF except for the A/C faceplate.
