Anyone think that with the desire of the 550 due to our extra pedal, will match prices of the 599? (Not GTO or 3 pedal or the Aperta for sure) How bout F12. Just thinking fun to post.

Mint vs. mint, I doubt it.

But endless variations in price/quality due to high volumes for both models.

As someone who had a 550 and 599 GTB at the same time, the two are also virtually impossible to compare in terms of build, spec, size, complexity and driving experience. Pros and cons for both.

Per anticipating future prices, in the case of the 550 and GTB F1, depends how many decades you intend to wait to realise a profit ;)

Eventually I believe the 550 will outperform the 599 GTB (f1).

I had the same idea, but i don't want to sell the 550.
Now, a few weeks ago, i decided to get a 599 GTB in addition to the 550.

The problem is to find one in the spec, condition and price that i want.

    The search began.
    We will see.

DZ-96 yea that is probably what I'll have to do, as I do not see myself parting with my 550.

I am sure would enjoy owning a 599 but I wouldn't sell my 550 to have one.

That's my thought as well. I suspect when/if 3pedal 575 values and f12 values start to intersect, I'll make a move. It may take a while but eventually may happen.

I have both and really would not consider the 599 Buick-like *looooool*.

Performance of the 599 is a great lot better than of the 550. The latter though has the classic car feel that I like.

Both seem to be bullit-proof, in terms of Italian cars at least :D

The F12s look like they were styled by Hyundai. They will look dated in ten years.

I disagree. In terms of styling, I look at the 599 as a revolution. The F12 looks like an evolution of the Maranello to my eye. I prefer the F12 to the 599. I prefer the styling of the 550 to all of them, but I am biased. :) I had intended to skip the 599 and save my pennies for an F12, but once again the rapid and massive depreciation of the Ferrari 12 cylinder GT is making the 599 a relative bargain that I think I might find hard to pass up.
