I absolutely love the spec on this car. In fact, its the spec I have been searching for in the US market for many years. If only this was LHD, I would have bought it from you long ago.
It is indeed! One of the best drives I had was at dusk, a topless V12 Ferrari at night is quite a special experience!
Two further pictures. I also have a letter from the importer confirming that it was the last car built. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
This car was supposed to be the example used for the Forza article unfortunately scheduling prevented it. The example in the article is another example in SA.
Not completely accurate : some of the pre-production cars are also numbered ;-) Image Unavailable, Please Login
and out of the 462 cars 75 are RHD. 2 of the protoypes and pre-production cars, + 73 out of the 448 production run.
True but I not sure where P2, 3 etc fit into the sequence of 1-448 There is one of these "p" cars in SA too.
Beautiful example. Really cool that it is the last one to come out of the factory. Not the last RHD manual V12 made though. 575 production included 251 RHD cars, 69 of which were manual. Although 599 numbers are much more contested, around 10 RHD manuals were made.
Last individually numbered car I believe. Far as I know the both the 575 and 599 were "1 of abc number" Ironically one of those RHD 599's nearly landed up coming to SA, unbelievably...nobody wanted the car so the allocation was then passed onto another market!
I am almost certain that 575 superamerica were individually numbered. I need to have a look to mine. Can anyone confirm?
The Barchetta was the last of the numbered cars. From the Superamerica onwards the 1 of 599 (etc) nomenclature was used.
You are all right and I was wrong. I just checked on my car and no individual number like for the barchetta!
