Can you show me pics of the 550 barchetta seats all different colors if you can Thanks.
No pics here, but an indelible memory that those are the finest seats I have ever dropped into. I have gt3 seats in my pcar and they are fabulous, but the barchetta seats are the best. Does anyone know if they are the same as the large sport seats in the CS? Are there any outlets other than the dealer to buy these?
They are expensive. Like stupid expensive. I know there was a set floating around in Cuoio (sp) for 4k a seat instead of the usual 7-8. --Dan

My experience with (360) sport seats is that they're way too wide and don't hold well sideways unless you have a 4-point harness instaed of the std belt as pictured below.
Yes, they make different sizes of sport seats. It's my understanding that Stradale seats are made by Sparco. You can pretty much get the same through them sans horsey.

Those look good! but i also like the red harness in the pic above..which may clash with the red in your seats .. The sports seats are available in different sizes and so should provide adequate lumbar support. Im a big fan of sports seats and think they positively change the appearance of the car. On the subject..i recently went in a friends merc (E55 AMG - not really a big fan of mercs...) but as you turn into a corner the seat automatically adjusts and tightens to provide extra lumbar support....now just imagine something like that in a f-car...perfection!
Pretty sure 550 "Racing" seat option (standard in Barchetta) is same chair as 360 "Racing" seat option (standard in Stradale), though w/a bit more cushion.
I have a 2500lb heavily modded 3.4 carrera conversion boxster slotcar. It pulls even with and m5 to 125 and walks almost anything in the curves. I was told today the barchetta seats are a hybrid and a bit different form and padding than the other sport seats. Dan, you are right, that is stupid money, even at the lower price, I'd rather go on vacation! BTW you have mail.
