Anyone hear of an improved top for the 550 Barchetta? The one that comes with it is the biggest pain in the a$$ imaginable. Just wondering if there is a smiple cockpit cover or something that could be put on (not for driving) in case it rains while parked.

Oh my god....just when i thought this car could not get any more hideous they introduce a hardtop which looks like it doesn't fit.

Im sorry if i offend anyone/owners on this board as this is not my intention. I know taste is a personal preference but lets not just blind as it is a f-car....even when the 550 Barchetta first came out i thought it looked odd (to say the least) thats before i heard you can only go so fast with the roof on (70 mph?).

Dont get me wrong im a huge fan of the 550 and the 575...but this Barchetta version IMO is just plainly ugly and impractical (unless your in the sunshine all day - or you want to chug along at 70mph...)

I have seen one and sat in it, was not impressed at all and lost interest after 5 minutes (now thats unusual for me with f-cars)..

    Just my opinion.

You might feel differently if you lived in a place that got more than three days of sunshine a year.

Actually, I’m considering changing my 98’ 355 Spider into a Barchetta by using my amazing powers of sale and purchase.
