Barchetta: Ltd production, collectors item. Likely won't depreciate too much. Useless top. In reality.. No top. This limits cars usefulness.

DB9. Luxury GT. Will depreciate quickly. Can use daily.

Both are beautiful with more than enough perfomance.

    I'd buy the Barchetta!

If we're arguing looks, no contest for the DB9. The 550/575 is gorgeous, but the minute you remove the roof (Barchetta, Superamerica), it is ruined.

    Barchetta. Its so sexy.

The DB9 is nice but lacks character.

I am starting to see a LOT of DB9's buzzing around.... in Vegas, and here in SoCal.

Just got done watching Casino Royale, and I have to say that the DB9 is pretty spectacular...I know it was a DBS in the movie, but that car is gorgeous nonetheless. Incredible lines.

    Indeed,
Novelty of that car wears off pretty quick, had an early Volante(never got excited by it )then my neighbor bought one for his wife, then another housewife in the neighborhood got one, then "Desperate Housewives" Longoria started driving one.
It just became a regular production, cutesy ,girlie little car.
Should not be even mentioned in the same breath with 550 Barchetta.

The Barchetta has so much more panache. Of course you could live with a DB.

All the cars that were LTD production in some years will cost more, specially if they were Ferrari...but C´mon the DB9 Volante is so nice and so beautiful but it will depreciate very quickly.

    Performance pretty much equal.
    Looks pretty much equal.
Depreciation goes to the F car.(less)
    Usability goes to the AM.
Rarity goes to the F car.

I always wished they produced a 550 spider. That for sure would be in my garage if they did.

    Darrell.
