I'm looking at brake alternatives, but need a baseline to compare. Anyone know the stock 550 rotor sizes, f and r, and caliper piston sizes? The rotors look small inside my new novitec 19's!

thanks Dan. is piston size related to stopping power? why do some of the aftermarket kits have smaller pistons?

The 3 main factors the affect brake performance are disk diameter, piston diameter, and line pressure. Anytime you make a change to any of these it will throw the other 2 off balance. In a big brake kit you will be increasing disk size so you will have to reduce piston diameter to balance it out.

Very interested in your big brake setup, just trying to find the time to call and order.

The 'Larger Front Kit' has the 44mm/40mm pistons, correct?

Do you go with the drilled rotors normally or the slotted?

    Thanks!

Jeez.... You got the Novitec Rossos as well as the exhaust?

    You're killing me.

I am a very weak man, prone to expensive compulsive purchases, and you're not helping.... ;)
