550 Cam Belts

Good question. I would assume most owners go based on 5 years from install on the car, but this would be hindered if the belts sat in a box for 10 years. I would probably want something with a build date no more than a year or so before install. Best way to avoid stale belts is to buy from someone who supplies a lot of them. I was temped to buy some off Ebay from the UK in the Dayco boxes as opposed to the Ferrari packaging but then worried that they could potentially be selling old stock.

 

If you get them from Ricambi, the belts will be fresh.
