The 550 is such a heavy car. Granted it is a GT. I wonder what it would be like lightened? My old 348 lightened and turned into a racecar was just fantastic when light even with a stock motor. Have you thought about a whole carbon door panel? The one pictured looks cool. I'd be interested to see what you come up with.
I've always thought how great it would be to recreate a 550 (GTO/TDF). It's a bit harder for me to imagine it the same way as the newer cars though.
It's more to recreate the carbon pack, a full carbon door panel will save you some weight as well but I think there are things that can loose you more weight easier like a lithium battery, floating disc rotors, inconel exhaust for example.
