Hi everyone! I am considdering taking off the catalyzers to get more of the good sound. Usually it only gets worse, but I can’t stop my eager to test it out... I have Hyperflow catalyzers today that I have had for about 6 years. The work well and the car pass the emission test with them on. I am looking at cat delete pipes from both Tubi and Larini. These do the same thing, but they differ in design. The Tubis have longer pipes before they merge into one. So the question is: -What will be the difference in the sound if any? I am sure there is a difference. I like Murcielago’s V12 sound alot. Those have a 3-1 style header design and the front ones have longer secondary pipes than the rear and they merge much like the Larini pipes. I guess also the exhust of both banks are in a X-pipe design or similar. So who can tell me which one to get and why? I plan on using the original center muffler and continue to use my Fuchs valved muffler which I like ALOT. I also plan to insert a mini silencer («resonated tip inserts») into the non valved tail pipe of those mufflers to make the muffler more silent when the valve is closed. Today, I feel quite a bit of difference in the sound when the engine is warning up, and the mixture is more rich. When the engine is warm, the difference is less easy to notice. I want them to be have more difference in the sound level with open or closed valve, which can also be neccesary when I possibly take off the catalyzers.
