Has anyone seen one of these before? Appears that Starman was mentioned in this cars.com ad http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail.jsp?tracktype=usedcc&searchType=21&paId=205448164&pageNumber=0&numResultsPerPage=50&largeNumResultsPerPage=0&sortorder=descending&sortfield=YEAR+descending%2CPRICE+descending&certifiedOnly=false&recnum=17&leadExists=true&criteria=K-%7CE-%7CM-_51_%7CD-_1400_%7CN-N%7CR-10000%7CI-1%7CP-YEAR+descending%2CPRICE+descending%7CQ-descending%7CZ-98103&aff=national http://www.cars.com/go/search/preview.jsp;?tracktype=usedcc&searchType=21&pageNumber=0&numResultsPerPage=50&largeNumResultsPerPage=0&sortorder=descending&sortfield=PRICE+descending&certifiedOnly=false&criteria=K-%7CE-%7CM-_51_%7CD-_1400_%7CN-N%7CR-10000%7CI-1%7CP-PRICE+descending%7CQ-descending%7CZ-98103&aff=national&paId=205448164&recnum=3&leadExists=true
I know Straman made a few, additionally, I know that some where done by an unknown (by me source) as there was a black one spotted in Monaco one year but it had a full height windshield so it wasn't a Barachetta either. My thought was perhaps it was a Sultan special but I haven't heard anything else about it.
It is with a hard-top construction like the Mercedes SL. A few pictures and some info - only in German http://www.carpassion.com/de/forum/ferrari-550-575-599/19363-maranello-cabrios.html
Clearly not. The second car is the Sultan of Brunei car which is like a 500SL but most likely Pininfarina built. The first car and the subject of this thread is Stramman built car.
