This was for insurance..
Here is the story...the guy hit a pot hole with his car...It broke the oil line..The motor lost oil...The first thing to lose oil is the cams...There is one cam that stopped...The cams are belt sriven..So instead of breakind alot of stuff the belt stripped out...Two of the valves got bent..on of the cams got bogered up very little..and the front main cam bearing need to be boredout or ferrait makes a tool to ream the cam seat out and put an insert for the cam bearing...We did check the invoice on this motor..It has olny 14432 actual miles..I did not have the invoice at the time i listed it..The crank is perfect...the main bearings have no pits or scratches..the cylinders are all good..no marks..the pistons are all good..one piston has a mark where the two valves hitt..the piston is still good...this motor did run when it came in..it wont take much to get this motor running again...it is wotrhy alot more than what is bid now...Hopefilly i answered your question...Brian...If you want here is my phone number if you want to contact me 408-603-5534..
