    Has any 550 owners ever seen 'FCS' flash in the multi-function display? During cold start it appears for a few seconds then, 'Check OK' appears. I contacted two dealers who both replied, huh never heard that one before. Later received call backs with vague and conflicting information. And yes, its headed to the dealers computer next week.

    Fuel Cooling System. Last check IIRC. It will show if you fire before Check OK. Mine did it yesterday when I hurried a start. Nothing in manual, usually not a "real" fault. Dealers sound uninformed, techs should know. FCS is complex on 550's, gone on 575. I wouldn't worry....

    I share Lee's experience - happens only if you fire up really quickly - affects nothing. Have powercycled to be sure. It does not appear to be a problem at all.

    Thanks guys. I always wait for 'Check OK' before firing. As mentioned, this error appears right before. I'm not overly concerned just don't like seeing ANY error codes displayed. Off to FBH tomorrow.
