I have just clipped the bottom left hand side of my front bumper and cracked the fiberglass (black) part. Looked as if the bumper was made of 2 parts, so I looked up the part on the Ricambi web site, and it seems that I cannot buy just the lower part of the bumper, but the whole thing for $5000+++.
I'm sure that I am not the first person to do this, does anyone out there have a similar experience, and found out how to do an invisible repair without replacing the whole bumper?

Many thanks, feeling very very foolish today.

    Hi

Sorry to hear that. Since this is fiberglass, you can actually have it repaired for a lot less. No need to worry.
If it's small, I would suggest you wait a bit for the repair so you can collect a few stone chips and then have the bumper repaired as well as front respray.
    I hope you feel better.

    Cheers

It's one piece. You should be able to find a body shop that can remold it out of fiberglass for around 1,500.

This happens frequently and no, you don't need to change out the whole bumper. As mentioned above, shops can easily mold a fiberglass repair. Depending upon the damage, this should with paint included, be somewhere between 400-1500. Trust me, I know from repeated experience!

Hope this makes you feel better and if you keep the car, it won't be the last time this happens:)

Good shop can fix that part and repaint it for <$4-500. Stone nick repaint for <1200 depending on where you live. It's just fiberglass.

You should be so lucky. Just for kicks, I checked the price on the same part for a 575 at Ricambi....$9720 (Note to self: slow down for squirrels and cats)
