550 headlights stopped working!

    Position 1 on the column turns on the parking lights just fine (and taillights), but when I switch to the headlights, they don't come on. Parking lights still on though. All the other lights seem to still be working, even the high beams when I kick them on.
    Is there maybe just one fuse for the headlights alone? I don't think both bulbs could have gone out at the same time

    Sounds like it could be relay "Q" in the attached diagram. Swap it with relay "F" and see if your problem moves from the low beams to the high beams.

    You can download a 550 workshop manual for free from ferraridatabase.com. Location of the fuse and relay boards are also in the owners manual. If you do not have one, you can download that from the same site.

    Have you tried swapping the relays yet?

    Be sure to post the results and whatever the final problem was so the community can benefit.

    Many people ask questions, get good advice, but then don't return to post the outcome.

    Ok cribbj, I switched the Q and the F and it worked... got headlights now and no high beams. I guess I will buy a new relay. thanks again

    Just to add to this. I believe the part number is Bosch Relay 0332019103 [3165141210835].

    Ferrari will take $30+ from you for one. You can pick the Bosch part up for $10.

    Just to confirm I fitted the Bosch part above, having compared the OEM relay and the Bosch part side by side, and it works fine. Lights are now working as they should.
