I'm thinking about adding Hyperflow Cats to my 550 and I was wondering if anyone has any first hand experience. I currently have a Tubi exhaust and an X pipe, I was hoping to add more power and better throttle responce without making the car signifigantly louder. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

mgsobe had it done. Search for his post on it or PM him. He's got the meanest sounding 550 I've ever heard.

The Hyperflows will add about 5-10% to the volume as they are less restrictive. The tone of the sound won't change dramatically, especially with the tubis and X pipe already installed :)

We've put HFs on many cars and all show improved throttle response and midrange. Exactly how much more than with the X pipe/tubi alone is hard to tell as I don't think that has ever been dyno'ed. The combination though of HF, X pipe and tubi (or X-Ost) is a very popular one.
