The boxer and 993 were difficult to sell, but I was just being realistic with myself. I needed to reduce one car because I couldn't deal with always having to "do something" with one of my cars. I wanted something with the raw quality of the boxer and with the everyday driveability of the 993. So that's what I came up with! I have a 575 which I am going to trade for a SA to balance the gt3rs. I'll post some pictures when the new garage is settled in! Mario
No doubt a warranty would help resale however, with limited models such as the CS, a properly maintained, no story car w/o warranty will change hands relatively quickly at market value.
Congrats on the RS and hope that it was worth it for you.......................however the 993TT is the pinnacle of porsche (exterior) design. The bb512 is also such a beautiful car. I've never driven an RS but I hear its a terrific car, I can't help but thinking that you traded down though. -Peter
tmario: Please provide your experiences with the RS. My RS is the first non-Ferrari sports car in the last 12 years (355 and 550 owner). Thanks, David
Buy F430, 360 stradale is an awesome car but F430 is much more better in means of technology and it is newer than stradale
I have a friend who bought an Enzo, but in order to make it work, he had to dump 5 cars: 1) Challenge Stradale 2) 996 Turbo Cab 3) 360 Spider 4) Gallardo 5) Jaguar R Type The car he still talks about: The CS! He still misses it, and says that in many ways, it was more fun than the Enzo for regular street driving. Maybe that will provide some insight...
I agree 100%: better= more horse power. We all know the horse power and Torque play big role to our excitement.
If what you're looking for is a car for the track then figure out what car goes in hand with your driving skills. For most people a 308 is beyond them.
