^ That's about 150 MPH coming down the front straight at Daytona in that video. It's much quieter at normal highway speeds; just a bit louder than stock.
Jim i would copy the h pipe i mentioned above. Any muffler guy should be able to do it. The claim is the h pipe changes the resonance frequency

I have Fabio's exhaust on my 550. It sounds mental...how a Ferrari should sound in my opinion. With the valves closed its very tolerable and not annoying at all. If you can swing it, I can't recommend it enough.
Thanks, Carl. I did notice a seat-of-the-pants performance improvement with the straight pipes but the resonance was unbearable. Future project to add the H-pipes.
I had a QUIET 575. Replaced center resonator with Bradan straights. Still quiet. Next switched hoses to cans to always on. Still quiet and again almost no difference. Found a set of tubi straight pipes to replace the rear mufflers on this forum Lose 37 lbs per muffler. Sound is deep and glorious per anyone that has heard it. Don't ask I am not technically advanced enough to record and post a sound file. GTS Bruce
@ tres55 Just ordered pos 1+2 for my 550. I try to go with the 6-1 with my Fuchs straight pipes and Fuchs rear mufflers. At the moment no drone with them. I will hear it in some weeks. It was a hard decision : 6-1 for the 550 or for the 599 ? Decided to go first with the 550 system. Daniel
I look forward to hearing what it sounds like with the Fuch's components. I'm very happy with my exhaust note...could be slightly louder in the cabin but I think that's the catalytic converters that would need to be removed and I don't want to need to shower after every drive so they'll stay in.

This is in fact the best sound I have heared on a 456/Maranello... recorded by myself soon ten years ago. The set-up was original catalyzers, Stebro X-pipe (one oval foot long pipe so not exactly a true X) and no rear mufflers, only a Y on each side. Later I copied this on my 456M. I Met Fabio today and picked up my System. The Parts are awesome, to nice to hide them under the bonnet. And all the Parts are much smaller than i expected. Itˋs technical Art. We Had a Test Ride with his 575. I was shocked about the Performance of the 575. This car goes like the hell, with an exhaust sound which is the best i heard at a maranello. You Can forget everything. Nothing, and i mean nothing, can beat this System. I got only the manifolds with Cats and downpipes. I wi Go with my already installed straight Pipes and the already installed Fuchs mufflers. Daniel
