The rest is easy using the vin tool especially if you know where it was originally delivered from the registry?
Registry data by definition will always be incomplete. It's virtually impossible to gather all information accurately for every VIN produced of a given model. Some are better than others but there are always going to be holes. T he Shelby American Automobile Club registry, for example, has a reputation for being as "complete" a registry as any out there for any marque - their registrars are all model-specific experts and they've been doggedly gathering registry information on Shelby Mustangs, Cobras, GT40s, Tigers and other Shelby-related car models for multiple decades. This 550/575 registry will likely take many more years of pain-staking work before it's anywhere near as "complete" as what SAAC puts out.
Matthias Urban has a web site with registry for most Ferraris. Forget the specifics, but somebody should know.
Looks like you were managing an Excel registry with an online link to it about 6 years ago. I recall it was a multi-page spreadsheet with more expansive data than what has been shared here. What became of that effort? https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/550-maranello-registry-created.576583/
I know this thread is long silenced, but 125568 is Blue Pozzi with the Blue Nart interior leather. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login View attachment 4055104
You could very well be correct it was described as either Nart or Pozzi Blu. Which ever the outside the interior leather is opposite color. This car has never been modified. Though now that I google it, the images that come up for other TDF 550's its that color and I am wrong to describe it as either Nart or Pozzi.
You all Ferrari55Whoa, that's very useful information. I appreciate it. I'm not sure even the owner knows that tag is there. I will look into it.
You bet. As an explicit example....check out this current listing on BAT https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1999-ferrari-550-maranello-48/ Then look at that car and photo number 113 to see what denotes the original exterior color.
For me Blue Nart interior leather is not a interior leather Ferrari , my Ferrari 550 Maranello # 110069 Argento Nurburgring / Blu Scuro .
What Bernard means to say is there is no such thing as a Blu NART interior color. Here are your choices and she looks like plain old Blu, 4307, although Carta Da Zucchero (sugar paper blue), 4577 is also possible. 4577 is pretty light, though. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Would you be willing to submit a picture of your Blu leathers? @ Everyone, the reason I am engaging is to define the exact nature of the color without the original spec sheet as it has been lost to time. Thank you for your assistance,
Terry @tazandjan i thought i learned from you that a build sheet can be pulled from MODIS (dealer) and then that should show the original interior designation?
Ferrari55 this was my understanding. This post made me think so I called Ferrari of Palm Beach and they couldn't give me whole spec sheet but the car colors, officially listed from Ferrari are "Blu Nart 523 exterior, leather 4307 Blu" I appreciate everyone help.
Bay I can confirm the information you listed in your last post is correct. I do not have the engine serial but I will get it if you need it.
