Borrowed a mate's recently classiche-certified 550 to review on my YouTube channel. Please take a look and let me know what you think!

My team and I did reviews on a 308GTB carb and 246 Dino GTS before and we got some really constructive feedback on here (somehow got nothing for our 512TR video lol). Enjoy!

Loved the video, thanks for sharing!

I would mention that one thing I especially noticed (and liked) is it felt like there was an "audio input" for just the "shifted gate" it sounded so delightfully crisp during shifts in the video. It doesn't feel like other videos have captured that.

Thanks for your kind words! We have come a long way for audio recording - back in our earliest videos we could barely hear anything else other than me talking lol!

Do check out our other Ferrari videos when you have a moment, we have been very fortunate with some very generous friends/owners lending us their pride and joys.

Agree with the above, thoroughly enjoyed the video! It had a great mix of narration and just letting the sounds and scenery be heard. Also nice mix of interior vs exterior shots and drive-by. I also liked the intro history. If I only had 1 constructive criticism is the video may have been a minute or 2 long for me. But still watched the entire video and enjoyed it. Keep up the good work and look forward to watching more!

    Nice video.

Did your mate show you the Classiche Certificate/folder?

I have never seen one done on a Maranello.

What I have read elsewhere on this forum is that it’s all about authenticity and less about condition and consequently, a scruffy car that is truly authentic would qualify whereas a highly-maintained but subtly-modified car would not, or at least those parts which were non-original or non-standard would be highlighted in the photographic record in the red book... (e.g. Tubi exhaust, stick on shields, non-original hi-fi head unit etc.)

Regarding the Tubi exhaust - I have read that several years ago some owners had to resort to borrowing and temporarily re-fitting an old standard exhaust just to get their cars through the process! Do you know what they allow these days and does the certification process require an annual inspection to remain current?

Thanks for your kind words! Admittedly, we do get the video length comment from time to time and we do keep it in mind, but sometimes it is hard as there is so much information we want to share :D!

Thanks for the support! The DC2 vid got a great VTEC soundtrack if that's your thing :)

The Classiche folder unfortunately was only in transit from Italy when we were shooting the video.

What you read about owners borrowing a standard exhaust for the process is true, and also true for this car :D

Any engine that is aurally pleasing or interesting grabs my attention...High revving straight 4s to oversized pushrod V8s, Flat 6 to V10's, Straight 5s to V12's and flat plane V8s....Anything goes!
