Can anyone enlighten me as to who provides Ferrari with their optional two piece modular wheels. I thought it was Speedline but then somewhere heard it was BBS.
How can you tell if someone selling a Ferrari with the optional modular wheels are original from the factory or if they added them later, since Speedline sells aftermarket also.
I recently saw a 550 ad where the owner was touting his car with "special deep offset modular wheels". I have never heard of them.
I am assuming the stock Ferrari wheels have the same offset as the optional factory modular wheels.
    Thanks.

I don't know about the 550 modulars, but they look very similar to the modulars on my 360, which are made by BBS. Never heard of the "deep offset modulars".

Dont know 550, but I just put on HRE's on my 355 and they stick out more in the rear than stock.
Does that answer anything you wanted to know? I am not sure, but it may help.

They may be the ones that come with the 550 Barchetta. They are 18" and are like the 360 modular wheels but look wider with polished lip. I have seen a few 550's with these wheels.

I have 550 with modular wheels. They are made by BBS or Speedline can't remeber from the last time i took the wheels of the car to clean. You can tell the wheel are from the factory because they have ferrari logos embedded in them inside the wheel next to either BBS or Speedline logo.
