    My mechanic let me know that he has a set of 550 Maranello mufflers listed on EBay. Item number 7926321716. Current bid $100. Low reserve - he needs to clear out the storeroom in his shop. No financial interest on my part, yadda, yadda, yadda.

    given the prevalence of swapping out for tubis at purchase, apparently dealers have rooms full of old 550 cans. when i bought mine i asked if it had the original cans as well as the tubis. they told me "you can have two sets of the original cans" :)
