Can the group post photos of your 550 or 575 next to your old or new Ferrari v8 model as a stablemate. Either a garage photo or one out at a show or in your drive? I’d like to see the combos. Thanks. Robb
Best I can do, I am afraid (well, there is a Ferrari V8 under that bonnet!) Image Unavailable, Please Login
Wonderful combination. I still really like the lines of the 360 Spider. A 550 and Challenge Stradale would be great. 2 great hits from Ferrari from that era.
I’d add it could be your car next to another owners v8... would just like to see the comparison on style and size in one photo. Thanks. Robb
Scud - go kart handling, lightening fast shifts, and the sound when all the shift lights on the wheel come on will raise the hair on the back of my neck. A very focused and intense driving experience. 575M - Can serve well as a more relaxed cruiser, but it also shrinks around you on a sporting drive. Gated shifter adds layers of character to the experience for me. V12 with so much available torque makes it fun to drive even at moderate speeds. I think they are very different so that's why I picked them ;-) Tony
I have an F1 575M that I wish was a 3-pedal car. I had a550previously. The 575M is the last beautiful Ferrari 12 IMHO, and the finest Ferrari I have ever owned. To bad my health is making me sell all my toys.
In my driveway, after a steak dinner. Who do I have to blow to get the "Owner" thing next to my name before I sell my cars? Image Unavailable, Please Login
My old v12 and v8 combo, the v8 is gone and the v12 is still in Miami about to go on bat from the dealer it’s at. First kids on the way, twins, my toy hobby has to stop wife says....who was it that said kids are the best thing ever? I hope they’re right bc the cars were pretty cool Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks Bas. Yep, I would not mind to add a CS to my stable. But after years of ownership I am still very happy with the 360 Spider. The car still contents all my needs for a spirited drive on public roads, very raw, responsive and great sounding. Quite different from the 550 which shows other merits. Martin
The 360 being my first Ferrari, I expected a 360 with a V12 when I bought my 550. That said, the first driving experience with the Maranello did not really match my expectations, the tame sound being the main point of criticism. But I quickly fell in love with the 550 due to the GT characteristics you mentioned. And a nice Tubi helped to remedy the sound issue. Martin
