Did they really improve the 550 when they brought out the 575? I know it has a bit more power and the F1 option is common but is it a better car? A track driving instructor that I have great respect for told me once that he preferred the handling characteristics of the 550 and that he'd heard that the only reason they came up with the Fiorano handling pack for the 575 was because they'd ruined the balance with the other changes. I confess that I've never driven a 575 so I'm not qualified to have a view but the 550 is pretty close to perfection to drive. So what are the views of the experts?
Try the search function, don't mean to be rude but it seems this question is asked on a weekly basis.
A simple title search on "550 575" http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=21716 http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9386 http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2371 http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=8476 My summary would be: - do you want F1 or stick ? - do you like the looks of the 575 (one can only prefer the interior) ? - can you find a 575 with the Fiorano pack (since you ask the question, a GTC seems to be ruled out) ?
OK, good point. No offense taken and a good read courtesy of ze_shark. Just back from blowing off the Christmas cobwebs with a New Year blast and it felt good. Thanks.
