i think the Novitec Rosso's just make the car even HOTTER! it's all about the rims jc...when u going to get urs?
hubie, i agree, the car itself is beautiful, but those rims make the car even more so. .... my car is running strong... so you know what that means... EC crew wait and see!
thanks again for hijacking my "Pricing Help" thread to "Novis Wheel" thread... Now let's get back to my original question: what would be a fair $$ to pay? I don't mind paying a higher but fair price, as long as when I sell it in 12-18 month for the 430, I won't lose too much on it. Oh yes, I'm getting a 430...among the first batch shipped to the US.
i think '99 is doable in 120's, a clean '01 in 150's should have service done. now if your goal is not to have the best 550 but to lose minimal money when u jump to 430, i think it is better to get a cheap '99.
werd. i agree with chris. if u going to be driving it for only a year and u intend to sell if once u get the 430, might as well go for an older 550 so that way u dont get hit with a bigger depreciation value loss if u get an '01+
Sorry guys but i don't see it that way. i think that a nice, clean low mileage ferrari with the right color combo is a much easier sell and will always have more buyers than a higher, older mileage ferrari specially on the 550 and 575. John you should also keep in mind that the 550/575 has a different clientel base than the 355/360. i think that the buyer of the 550/575 would be wanting a nicer, cleaner and lower mileage car. but what the hell do i know. i am driving a CS!
if the 'average' buyer of a 550/575 would want a nicer, cleaner, and lower mileage car, then i think they would opt to buy a 575 instead. no? well, my knowledge of 550/575's is minimal so just take my opinion with a grain of salt.
I don't know anything about 550 buyers either. Oh, wait a minute, I mean I don't know anything about average 550 buyers... honestly, pchop, lower mileage, higher mileage, you're going to drive the **** out of it anyway, so by the time you sell it will be high-mileage '99 vs. high-mileage '01 I for one am pulling for high-mileage '01s having the highest resale value, and the higher the mileage the higher the value. But, then again, I'm biased. And crazy. Just get the color you like.
