I am looking at buying a 550 and one of my concerns is where to get service other than at Foreign Cars Italia in Greensboro. I know they pick up for free etc, but just wondered who else is out there that would be closer for some service issues?

Other car on my list is a 365 GT 2+2. Any one know of any for sale in drivable distance?

I don't care where you are in the state...you can't do better than Karl Troy at European Road & Racing. Yes, Charleston is a bit of a drive, but just think...great drive down, expert service, great/worry free drive home.

When I lived in West Palm Beach, FL I went to a couple places close to home...didn't want to travel the distance to go to Tim Stanford in Ft. Lauderdale -- MISTAKE. I soon learned that the drive was worth it. I think the drive to Charleston to see Karl would be worth it to you...In your situation, I don't anything about the shops in NC...and with free pick-up, that may be the most convenient and hard to pass up.

You may want to give Karl a call and see who he recommends...he'll give you the straight scoop every time.

I think it was this car I posted about in the sightings thread? If you want the pic down, let me know.

Not really a helpful post, but also another good reputable shop that many people use is Karl Troy's place in Charleston. But just reading a lot on here I have heard good things about all 3. I've noticed the Upstate is starting to need a place for cars like these to be worked on.
