    yep, noticed the spring.

    Weird. Driver side was not twisted. Pax side was....

    I understand this to be a common issue but why do they twist?

    I read in a post that the actuators are supposed to turn in the housing...is that correct.

    The shock rod is turning the spherical joint in the shock mount, the actuator is just along for the ride. Why is anyone's guess, I suspect the attached eccentric bump rubber contributes as I have explained before.

    Very interesting, so this could be a visual reference to identify if the actuators are working?
    Dumb I know but it makes diagnosis easy.

    Bernard- Yup, and that MSW mod Delta Vee does also prevents the banging and crashing from the metal to metal worn shock mount.
