550 slow down light

    I just change the oil, after cranking the engine it says (check OK) the slow down light comes on. oil level is OK Any body got idea.

    The slow down light has nothing to do with your oil. It is only related to Catalitic converters temperature. Or all the systems related to mesure Cats temperature.

    One of the ECUs that control the slowdown light (there are two of them, one for each bank) has probably gone bad. Ferrrari has updated these ECUs numerous times. You can either download the fault codes from the motronic control units to see which one is bad, or just bite the bullet and replace both of them.
    The latest versions have green potting material as opposed to the black material used on the original units.
