    Here's a strange one!! 1997 550M that the right side turn signal comes on by itself when parked. Doesn't happen with the ignition turned on. Turn the ignition off and in about 60 seconds the right turn signals start flashing. When I turn the ignition on it immediately stops. If I turn the battery disconnect off while its flashing it obviously stops, but starts flashing again as soon as I turn the disconnect back on. I replaced the turn signal relay and made no difference. Anyone experience this before?

    Possibly immobiliser-related.

    When you push the fob button, do the left AND right turn signals come on? The immobiliser ECU triggers the left and right turn signals independently.

    With the key on, do you have any door, hood or trunk warnings illuminated?

    Does your siren chirp when you push the fob button? Do you get normal alarm LED indications (for arm/disarm).

    It may be a combination of things (e.g. faulty anti-tow sensor and light wiring issue)
