550 w/ Fiorano Package, not with Fiorano brakes?

Hi everyone,
I just bought my first Ferrari, a 1997 550 and am having the major service done. During which, the shop working on my car ordered the brakes that went with the FHP (After looking up the Vin the mechanic saw the car had the option), but when he received the new brakes (my fronts needed replacing), he found they did not fit. Apparently the standard 550 brakes do.....?

Does this mean someone swapped out the Fiorano brakes for the regular ones?

I have the red calipers (which signify the car has the fiorano package or someone just painted the calipers) and a previous owner had Tubistyle exhaust put in... So I find it hard to believe the FHP brakes were taken off.

I asked the mechanic to measure the thickness of the rear sway bar.

Any other thoughts or ideas regarding this?

 

I didn't think it was offered until later in the 550... just got back the rear sway bar measurements, 17mm. Must have been a mistake on the part of the mechanic.

Just need Ferrari's systems to come back online and I can get the list of the options the car was shipped with. :/
