Dear Ferrari Chatters After two days at the Nürburgring my Pirellis are as flat as it gets. Since the Pirelli managed to keep up with my driving for over 6K miles I would have bought a new set of them. Unfortunately Pirelli P Zero's are sold out in Switzerland and I have to go for an alternative. Can you please recomend another tire that will work as good as the Pirelli? Thank you! i do not think another choice will work as well. mine came with Bridgestones. P zeros feel much better
I second the Michelin PS2. Had P Zeros...liked them, but like you I couldn't get another set. The Michelin PS2 is stickier IMHO.
DE- You probably could get a set or P Zero Rossos mailed from TireRack here and still save money after paying duties and postage. Regardless, the Michelin PS2s are superior to the Rossos in my opinion, and I have Rossos on my car. Taz Terry Phillips
My Michelin Pilot Sports reacted the same way your Pirellis did to track events. I replaced them with PS2s but bought a set of used OEM 550 wheels and mounted BF Goodrich g-Force T/A KDW 2s for track events. They perform well and after 350 track miles and 500 normal miles they still look unworn. The reviews on Tire Rack are all very much positive and many use them for track events. I like them very much for street use too and actually regret remounting my street tires/wheels, but I feel it's necessary use both sets regularly. Also nice about the g-Forces is that they're half the cost of PS2s. Reminds me that a fellow F-chatter here in Perth, Western Australia bought from TireRack in the USA & delivered, all up price was cheaper than local price. (Not 550, btw.) Delivery time was super quick, too. regards
tirerack shows the bridgestone re11 and re050....... both pretty cheap ( i have a wholesale acct) my wife's 5'er sport has the re050 on and i think the car handles better than my 575. they grip.
