What size socket do I need for the wheel bolts on a 550? Also, does any know if a lined socket is available. Thanks

I have mine downstairs. I thnk it's 22mm. I will double check. What do you mean by lined socket? Is there some kind of form-fitting liner inside?

Yes, you can buy sockets lines with plastic or teflon. I have seen them in Griot's catalog, for instance.

Thanks for the info. I think the shockets in Griot's aren't lined but have teflon on the ends so they don't mar the wheel. The one I'm looking for has the teflon inside the shocket. I have one for my Porsche but it is a different size, and was the only one available

Porsche uses softsockets due to the fact many Porsches use alloy nuts. Ferrari bolts are chrome plated steel and using a steel socket will bring no harm to the plating if you use some nature of hand wrench and not an impact gun.

Thanks Rifledriver, I feel better about checking the torque without maring the bolts.
