Well it been two months since I brought the 575 home, and I must say this car continues to amaze me. I'll admit that when I first got her as much as I was pleased with it's incredible power, I was alittle nervous with it in the twisties. I kept thinking that this car is bigger, heavier and not as well balanced as my 360's were. That may be true but now that I am used to her I have found that the twisties are as much fun as they were in the 360. You do have to watch the power around the tight curves though if you take off all the traction controls because the rear likes to swing out alittle.

As far as the F1, I think it is truly amazing in this car. At first I wanted a gear shift (have always been a gearshift guy) but I am convinced that in this car it is the only way to go. I remember reading a review of this car in sports car international back in 02 and they said that 575 might just be the best all around car in the world. I'd have to say that I agree with them. Everytime I turn the key and hear that 12 come to life it brings a smile to my face, hell just thinking about it now is making me smile. Cant wait to leave my office so I can drive her home.
    Happy Year New

Thanks guys. Maybe it is just me but I would enjoy reading more threads about everyones driving impressions. After all the true enjoyment of these cars we love so much is the driving experience.

I guessing that you like that torque, eh? Doesn't it seem like a bottom-less well of power?

    I agree with you Carnut.
    I love my 550 with a 6 speed.
The torque is wonderful. I live in the middle of Florida with open country roads and highways so all of my driving is on open fast roads with large sweeping turns. It's heaven for a Maranello.
I never have my traction control on since I do not like the stacatto luches I get when going through fast corners. I find the car runs very cool at all speeds until in traffic and then the temperature climbs fast but has never overheated on me.
You car looks great. I wish I had your wheels.

Can't speak for the 575, but 550 in the wet and heavy rain is pure bliss. Wonderfully balanced in such conditions, and just as fun! But it's still heaaavy.
