I thought the 575M could do two hundred miles an hour right out of the box? What's the big deal? :D

550 front bumper. Not sure even the Bonneville Salt Flats are long enough to get up to 202 mph with a stock 575M. More like the straightest section of the autobahn at 4 am.

Calling it "mostly stock" seems like a bit of a stretch.

195-202 mph, but it takes a really long straight. Georg Kacher says he has done 200 mph with a Maranello. Winds can have a large effect, too. On the salt flats, there is a lot of tire slippage at the rear, so 200 mph with a stock Maranello is pretty much impossible.

Bonneville isn't the place for the casual speed freak. Like driving on packed snow and you will be cleaning salt off of everything for months.
