    Agree 100%.

After going to the Cavillino Classic and seeing all of the Ferraris, it's the only one I really want. Am not interested in the 599 due to the styling as much as I love the engine/transmission/weight.

I now plan on keeping my Nero/Cuoio for a longgg time. 10+ years. I feel it's the modern Daytona. There weren't that many 575M's made. I was lucky to find one that had every option I wanted for the interior color details, chrome grille, etc.

The only Ferrari I'm looking forward to is the F540(?) to see how that shakes out.

The only Ferrari that surprised me in person at the show was the 550 Barchetta.
    Beautiful car.

The only weak point I've found on the 575M is the brakes.
Curious why Ferrari did not upgrade them from the 550 to the 575M.

They did. The HGTC package offered Carbon brakes. I ordered them on the Superamerica and they are exceptionally good.

I'm pretty sure you can order the CCB's as a replacement for the standard brakes. Very worthwhile, especially if you drive hard and need more than average braking effort. The CCB's simply get better as they heat up and they don't ever fade!

CCB's would have been a great option. Almost no one can order their own Ferrari's new here in Florida. Seems to be a very rare 575M option. Nice to see quite a few SA's with the CCB's. I would have loved to have had them on my 575.

I don't think it's the right retro-fit at 30k+, plus future rotor costs.
I'll be doing a large Brembo upgrade shortly for under 8k.

My 575M was at cav as well as palm beach supercar weekend. I have one of the few that had the handling package from the factory. I absolutly love driving the 575! It by far is the best bang for your buck for all around looks and performance. 04 with 4k miles at 165K!!!!!
